Cap runaway utility rate hikes and hold Duke Energy accountable.

Keep an always-open email inbox for every constituent.

End gerrymandering through an independent redistricting commission.

Require online posting of committee votes within 24 hours.

Protect whistleblowers who expose corruption.

Raleigh’s cuts to public schools are hurting Alamance County classrooms. Teachers are overworked, and kids are being left behind.

Parents want great public schools right down the street, not private vouchers that bleed our public dollars dry.

Fully fund public schools and raise teacher pay.

Stop voucher schemes that drain public dollars from local schools.

Expand career and technical education options.

Fund after-school and nutrition programs for every child.

Protecting What We’ve Built Against Weather-Related Disaster.

From flooding in the Haw River to storm damage across Alamance, our infrastructure is aging while storms are getting worse.

Every year we delay fixing our roads and repairing our communities, families pay the price. Let’s rebuild smarter and stronger.

Secure disaster-recovery funds to rebuild roads and homes.

Modernize stormwater systems to prevent flooding.

As a proud husband and girl dad, Coach Barnes believes that government has no place in the doctor’s office when it comes to personal choices. Those decisions belong to our loved ones and their medical professional, end of story.
